Contest Overview
Hello and welcome to the women's rugby league championship! This league has expanded significantly and improved yearly, starting with only four squads back in 2018 to a much more significant 12 teams. Remarkably, the final features the Roosters and Broncos in the grand final, exactly like back in 2018.
The two sides have been outstanding during this year – Sydney remains undefeated in 2025 and the Broncos have lost only one game. Both sides feature elite athletes all over the field and each is fully equipped of taking the championship at their best.
These teams last met occurred in match week three – during July – when Sydney achieved a close win by just four points. During that contest, the Roosters started strongly, created a comfortable break margin, before the Broncos mounted a late game rally. Olivia Kernick registered a vital late try to ensure the win for the defending premiers in a thrilling contest. If both teams replicate that intensity from their last encounter, spectators are guaranteed a magnificent game today.
With plenty of excitement coming up, we're starting!
